The workshop has been hosted by the 18th International Conference on Electronic Publishing “Let's put data to use: digital scholarship for the next generation” held on June 19-20, 2014 at the Alexander Technological Education Institute of Thessaloniki - Thessaloniki, Greece.

Launch of the EnIL survey. Countries involved: Austria, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Italy and Sweden.

EnIL is a founding member of The International Alliance for Information Literacy (IAIL) created upon a recommendation from the Prague Conference of Information Literacy Experts held on September 20-23, 2003.

29-30 January 2004

EnIL seminar on Information Literacy in Europe: a common research agenda organised in Rome. Among the results of the meeting is the decision of launching in all the EU25 countries a common survey in order to investigate the IL competency level of university students.
