Information Literacy Policies and Research

The policy and research dimensions of Information Literacy constitute the core strand of EnIL activities. Diverse levels of Information Literacy policies are identified and analysed (European Union, country, learning sector, Higher Education, institutional). Result of this group is the book Information Literacy at the crossroad of Education and Information Policies in Europe. Carla BASILI (ed.), Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche, Roma 2008, 301 pp.

The grid of analysis proposed by the editor in the call for chapters constitutes the scientific basis of the EnIL Observatory on Information Literacy Policies and Research that will be soon on line.
