Spring meeting of the European Council of Information Associations: Madrid, 25-26 March 2001. The importance of information literacy was discussed. As there is no EU project on the subject, Carla Basili said she was willing to co-ordinate a working group that would define the term and monitor initiatives taken in different countries (see: ECIA Views 14).
