Daniela
Schwill – Renate Vogt,
The
study reform as a chance for the university libraries
(completely translated in English).
The study reform
gives a chance to introduce teaching of information literacy as an
integrating part of the university studies and to follow the
Anglo-American and Scandinavian models. The framework issues of
the Bachelor reform, i.e. modularisation and credit
system (ECTS), are presented. Different
strategies are explained through concrete examples, with focus on methods
by which the university libraries can
integrate their IL offers into the Bachelor structure and put it into practice.

In 2002 a Working group

established by the work community of the
university libraries in vbnw together with
the polytechnic libraries. The
goal of this cooperation has been to improve effectiveness and
quality, by preparing together methods and materials, directing towards
