The DAPT
Library’s activity falls within an articulated educational project in connection
with SBA (University Libraries System) and
CIB (Inter Library Centre) initiatives of
Alma Mater Studiorum, Bologna University.
Seminar for
learning strategies of bibliographic research
within the Course of History of Modern and Contemporary Urban Planning
(Department of Visual Arts)
It is divided in 2 sections:
·
General basics;
·
Specific resources for Architecture and Planning.
The course is carried out at the Laboratory of the Visual Arts Department.
Target group:
2nd year university students and last-year undergraduates
Period:
March-April 2004
Didactical
structure
15
hours overall: 5 x 3hours lessons
Every lesson includes:
· 1 frontal hour;
· 1 hour of
teamwork practice
·
1
hour of individual practice.
Lecture notes are distributed during the course.
In order to analyse the educational entry level a preliminary questionnaire
is administered for assessing how much the students know and use libraries and
bibliographic research tools.
A
final questionnaire
is
administered after the final exercise (teamwork: 5 research matters).
