Obiectives
and strategies
The library's
primary objective - part of the university's development contract,
2000-2003 - is to
ensure user-friendly access to relevant material and information by:

Providing
access to user-friendly online information services, and work for the
development and diffusion of Denmark's Electronic Research Library.
·
Developing a
model for the integration of information literacy in the learning process by
means of advanced IT tools.
·
Establishing
a learning resource centre with PC work stations and reference literature.
·
Contributing
to the development of a university portal on the Internet, based on online
report forms, that gives access to the publications and achievements of
researchers at Aalborg University.
