Training sessions  (face to face/class and online) on databases and electronic publications

During these sessions it is explained how the Library and its services work and where and what are the electronic information resources available at Malaga University
Practical exercises on using them are also carried out.
E-journals, e-books and related services, the Library's catalogue JABEGA, collective catalogues and databases (general, multidisciplinary and specialised) are examined.
In addition to these specialised sessions, there is a general introduction on search strategies, the use of operators in databases and access to the Internet.
A printed guide to the use of databases (also available online at http://www.uma.es/Servicios/Biblioteca/cdromindiceguias.htm) will be delivered in each session.
