Online practice
communities for designing and evaluating learning objects

distance Master - 60 educational credits AY 2005-2006
Target groups:
teachers, educators and trainers in public corporations and private
companies
It aims at creating
cooperative paths both online and in presence (blended education).
An initial seminar, an intermediate workshop and a final
meeting are planned.
During the Master
a project work
– including a test on the field through a
research-action – will be
carried out.
Educational goals
The participants will acquire
competencies about:
· design
of multimedia materials for interactive didactics (online and in presence);
· search,
evaluation, recontextualisation of online educational resources;
· creation
and management of practice communities and facilitation of
collaborative/cooperative processes on the net.

Didactic methodology
The course consists of
lectures, stages, laboratory sessions, seminars, project work, distance
education, practical exercises, final test.
Practical activities:
during the laboratory sessions learning objects will be created in a
collaborative way. During the stage they will be
tested and revised in scholastic and
educational contexts.
Final test:
discussion of the learning objects
created and applied in the educational contexts.
