“Power from data” is a hypertext designed to help non-expert readers use at best statistics,
so that they familiarize themselves with the official statistics information,
its language, tools and methods. It is based on similar materials
provided by international institutions and foreign statistics institutes.
It has been

It is
partially funded by the Ministry of Education, University
and Research (MIUR).
The texts are
simple and easy to understand, accompanied by rich references and
deepenings. They are navigable both in sequential and in hypertextual way, and
are very useful for study and didactics, but non limited to the education world.
Every card is self-sufficient
and does not require reading the previous cards. However, the hypertext can be
used systematically for ex. by students, teachers interested in using
statistics concretely.
Target
group: everyone interested in using numbers in
order to describe real life phenomena, such as secondary school students and
teachers, university students and researchers (especially
humanities faculties)
