Specialization, vocational training and professional development

E-learning and Integrated Education (AY 2004-2005)

Target group: teachers, secondary school certificated and postgraduates
Level: advanced and specialised

Educational goals
The course aims at studying in depth the pedagogical, methodological and technological aspects of e-learning in order to integrate information and communication technologies into educational processes.

The course is divided into 7 modules:
1.  E-Learning: pedagogical, methodological and technological paradigms
2.  Didactics design, multimedia writing and web-usability
3.  Learning communities, web working and on-line tutoring
4.  Knowledge representation and learning objects
5.  Information retrieval on the web and concept maps
6.  E-Learning evaluation and quality
7.  Knowledge management and organizational learning

Teaching structure
1.  Specialization course: 20 educational credits
      300 hours
shared in:
     1.  190 hours of individual learning and on-line didactics
     2.  80 hours of distance education (laboratory, tutoring, interactive didactics)
     3.  30 hours of frontal didactics

2.  Vocational training and professional development: 15 educational credits
250 hours
