The Central Library “G. Marconi” of  National Research Council (CNR- Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche) in Rome was founded in 1927. It is:
·   The most important Italian scientific-technical library;
·   The reference national centre for Italian bodies producing grey literature;
·   The European Community depository library.
