CIL: basic IL tutorial of the CIB

It's a self-learning course, freely available online, for acquiring the necessary skills in finding, retrieving, evaluating, locating and elaborating information available both on the Internet and in libraries.

Main contents of the learning units:
1.     
Defining and formulating the research project
2.      Identifying what resources to use
3.      Research strategies
4.      Assessing the resources
5.     
Using the research results

The course is available in 3 modes:

  • Accessible (in Italian and in English)
  • Multimedia (in Italian and in English)
  • Advanced use mode: through an e-learning platform (ATutor) reserved for Bologna university users (password and username required). The tutorial is the general section propaedeutic to the specific disciplinary courses – organised by the librarians – on using information resources with a final assessment (in Italian  and in English).
