In March 2003 some
library instruction courses, funded by the European Social Fund (ESF), were
proposed. Main characteristics:

Basic course: 35
hours; advanced course: 30 hours;
·
Mandatory
attendance;
·
Carrying out
period: April-June 2003.
3 courses have been carried out at Leonardo Campus and 1 at Bovisa Campus.
One lesson about juridical sites
and online laws and procedures was added afterwards; another about how to build
bibliographic citations was added to.
Target
group: Architecture
and Design faculties’ students
Didactical issues:

Exercises
related to the disciplinary contents;

Final test;
3.
Explanations
and practice;
4 Guidance
in research and its techniques.
In 2004
the University Library System was made up and the working group “Informa Utenti”
(User Information) started. Co-ordinated by Maria Cristina Garanzini, it is
divided in the following sub-groups:
1.
Orientation;
2.
Reference Online;
3.
User Education

According
to the proposals of the “User Education” sub-group, the courses are being
reorganized.
Main characteristics of the modules proposed:

3 modules in the
first semester and 1 deepening module in the second semester;
·
Thematic modules
according to the
laboratory’s responsible persons.
