Aleksandria Learning Centre
is a service centre for both students and teachers on the University of
Helsinki City Centre Campus. Experts in teaching, information service and
information technology provide consultation and advice in the state-of-the-art
facilities of Aleksandria.

Library services

The
Undergraduate Library, responsible for these services,
offers, moreover, basic training in information retrieval, and students
have workstations with network connections at their disposal. |

Services related to the virtual
university - The
University of Helsinki Educational Centre for ICT offers the academic staff
training in the use of information and communication technologies in teaching,
and consultation in the development of educational technology, learning
environments and materials. Furthermore, the Centre coordinates the
development of the virtual university and supports efforts to enhance the
quality of network-based teaching. |
