The Library of the Aarhus School of
Business (LASB)
is
a public research library
and at the same time
EU documentation centre.
The Library is one of the twelve large Danish research libraries that implement DEF
- Denmark's Electronic Research Library.
Main lines of the Library's policy
Liaison teams
based on the ‘librarian – teacher – student triangle’
have been
established between the library and faculties of the parent institution, which
are then responsible for actively identifying and meeting the information needs
of academic staff, researchers and students.
Courses
The Library offers

Courses
in information retrieval: scheduled
lessons in information retrieval during the Autumn term of the first
year of study.
Target group: first-year university students
Level: basic and advanced

Presentation of Databases, in order to strengthen
students' information competences: during the
Spring term different courses are offered where the central
databases of the Library are in focus, for instance business economics
databases, including company information, legal databases.

Courses for External Users:
courses are offered for payment to external
users, for instance from other
educational establishments, enterprises, etc.; the
courses are targeted to meet the specific demand.
